1. Re-download the file
A partly downloaded file causes parse errors. Delete it and download again on a steady connection.
2. Free up storage
Android needs extra room during installation, more than the file size itself. Clear old videos or unused apps.
3. Remove the old version
If an older or differently signed version is installed, uninstall it first. Your account is stored online, so you will not lose it.
4. Allow installs from your browser
Go to Settings, Apps, your browser, then Install unknown apps, and switch it on.
5. Handle Play Protect
Play Protect may warn about apps from outside the Play Store. If the file came from the official link, tap More details then Install anyway.
6. Close screen overlays
Chat bubbles, blue-light filters and screen recorders can block the Install button. Turn them off temporarily.
7. Restart your phone
A simple restart clears stuck processes and often solves stubborn errors.
Still stuck? Try downloading with a different browser.
